I dont know if you’ll see this or remember what I’m referring to but at the last scene, that street he was walking with his bike is just a common route for students to take when walking to school If it was more detailed or more budget to animate background character which isn’t necessary it wont only be them walking on that street but other students too. So yeah he wasn’t being weird there following them. Don’t get me wrong tho I thought of the same thing watching it the first time and was getting second hand embarrassment 😂
