HELP!! QUICK REDLINE QUESTION!!
Added 2024-03-12 16:01:59 +0000 UTCI received a request to watch Redline in DUB but I wanted to know from the majority. What do you all think? Was the DUBBED VERSION a hit? Or should I stick to the SUBBED VERSION?

2024-03-13 20:29:40 +0000 UTCI'm generally a sub enjoyer and preferer, but in this case Redline is one of the few anime that actually has a really good dub surprisingly, but i'd say in the end it's up to you; so check out a clip from both and see which one you like better :) I understand where my peers are coming from and being weary of the dub, there have been lots of bad dubs out there lol but Redline's dub just fits better lol (imo)

2024-03-13 20:14:11 +0000 UTCYea although I see the poll, I gotta say like Michael ima big sub enjoyer but Redline is one of the few like Steins Gate/Cowboy Bebop that have a goated DUB. You can genuinely do both I'd say w.e you prefer at that point, can't go wrong

2024-03-13 14:28:33 +0000 UTCAs a staunch Sub enjoyer I gotta say RedLine has one of the greatest Dubs in anime ever and this not hyperbole. 9/10 I will always say sub but the Dub for this is really good.

2024-03-13 08:16:15 +0000 UTCI have not seen either but I think, as a rule of thumb for all media, it's always best to experience something for the first time as close to the original performance as possible. Voice acting, is real acting. In a high quality production, the vocal performances work together closely with every other aspect of production to give the desired tone and feeling. But because of various issues with the way dubs are made and the industry in general an English dub rarely ever comes close to the cohesion with those other elements of the media that the original vocal performance has.
