Planning for the beginning
Added 2024-02-23 00:13:19 +0000 UTCOk so now I can get back on Axyn... Finally after so long ! xD
So, what will happen for this project for now ?
1- Refactor the whole code:
Now that I have much better experience with Godot thanks to Mousegun, I can finally do a much cleaner and efficient code. Meaning I'll have to kinda rework everything that I already did. I'm currently in the middle of it, and it goes very well and very fast haha, I might be done in a few days.
2- Write the whole story:
I have the story beats in my head, but I need to lay it down on paper for good. This might take some time, but it's a fun part. :3
3- Do concept arts:
I kinda dived into Axyn head first when I started the game. I didn't use 3D in probably 10 years, never made a 3D game, never dived to deep into lighting, renderin and everything else. And the only music composition experience I had was with my work on Clover.
So now, I need to get pre production things done, so character design, background design, level design, etc.
Stuff like that, this might take a while, but it's another fun thing haha.
4- Make a good first playable prototype:
Once I've done all of those, I'll try to aim first at a playable demo. This is something new compared to my previous game, but it will help me advertize the game and have a better grasp of the whole project.
And then, we'll see once we've reached this first BIG step. xD
