2023-11-18 23:52:38 +0000 UTCHonestly, I'm surprised that this hasn't happened sooner. Animators has a whole have been grossly overworked and underpaid since forever. Anime is making more money now than ever before (tens of billions), yet the talent working these projects (voice actors as well) aren't even get paid a livable wage. I absolutely love anime, its provided so much as a child and still continues to do so into my adult years. But if all of the staff at these studios came together and formed a strike, I'd support it. They absolutely deserve better, on all fronts.
