The weight loss management for Takamura is nuts. They say he’s naturally at 90 kilos. As it’s been pointed out, 1 kilogram is 2.2 pounds. So he sits at 198 lbs naturally, but needs to be at 70 kilos to compete. He has to drop 20 kilos or 44 lbs. Thats an insane drop in weight. The anime doesn’t state where he started after having fought a short while ago, but the yo-yo-ing must be killer on his body.

Maybe its the built and endurance that asian boxer is subpar to white, black, hispanics but once in a while you get someone like Manny Pacquio. You might heard of him. He won 8 champion title in several different weight class. The most money ever recently was him and mayweather 400 million usd. He lost by a judge decision. So far, there’s been just one man in history till today to win world titles in eight different divisions and that’s 38-year-old Manny ‘Pac Man’ Pacquiao of the Philippines. Maywether has 5 title on 5 different divisions class but he holds the undisputed undefeated title :)
