2023-10-03 12:35:00 +0000 UTCWhat’s very symbolic about Ashura and Izo’s deaths that helped me get over Kinemon and Kiku’s fake-out deaths is how it ties into the major themes of the arc. All the scabbards followed Oden throughout his journey except 2: Ashura and Izo. Ashura went back to being a bandit during the 20 years and Izo left Wano and joined WB. The two who left the scabbards were the two who paid the ultimate price; almost as if to atone for their sins/regrets.

2023-10-03 06:18:47 +0000 UTCI think Otama's backstory should have been revealed soon after she got introduced, which literally is the beginning of this arc. Maybe it would've been more impactful. It's still heartbreaking though. Momo looks great. I feel like they did a great job in making him look like the child of both parents rather than just looking like Oden. Yamato joining would be cool but if it doesn't end up happening then it's not going be a big deal.
