Those are false positives. The launcher downloads files from the internet (the game files), and adds/modifies arbitrary files (again the game files in the install directory you specify) to your system. Combined with the code running as admin (to allow you to install anywhere you wish on your computer), and not having a code certificate, the launcher can get flagged by windows or other anti virus software. I would reccomend against using things like virus total, as it's been shown that scanning a file actually increases the chance of it showing a false positive. Getting an expensive code signing certificate to alleviate the false positives is infesable with the current Patreon amount. The best thing to do is report the file as a false positive by whatever anti virus scanned the executable. This will help future users from running into the same false positive issues. If you or anyone else who has questions about the launcher wants to join the discord I'd he more than happy to explain how it works and show you that it's safe. Renpy got updated again, so the solution is a clean install, remember to backup the saves

My last save was in the bedroom of Exile and loading it up causes a renpy error (and then kills the app before I can do anything) Something about u_move I'll try and screenshot, but I'm not in the discord anymore

Thank you for the hard work! I have to stick to using the compressed versions though since I don't have tons of storage space to work with with... Otherwise, I'd love to stick with the launcher.
