2022-11-18 03:37:25 +0000 UTCAside from how well done the overall storyline with Soldier Boy was done, I really loved the recurring theme of generational trauma being passed down from father to son from Soldier Boy, Homelander, Hughie, MM, and Butcher. Really liked the season and can't wait for more. If I could nitpick though I do wish Noir got to face down Soldier Boy after all of that build up they gave him throughout the season.

2022-11-17 00:01:42 +0000 UTCIts funny Homelander criticizes A-Train for killing another supe in cold blood, but he killed Alex in cold blood.. Neuman was placed as VP by Homelander/Vaught. Idk if it's thru coercion or on his own, but Dakota Bob (president candidate) is in with Vaught. There are scenes with him & Edgar talking, and in S1 him & Stillwell talking. That's why HL had the Deep go drown the other running V.P candidate (which is why he said "thats treason"). The ending scene with Homelander lasering the guy and everyone cheering is a reference to when Trump was rallying before his term and he said "I could stand in the middle of 5th ave and shoot someone and not lose any voters". Todd has now made open violence acceptable for Homelander.
