Will unpublish the $1 tier soon... also exclusive content soon...
Added 2023-12-13 21:55:44 +0000 UTCHello all, I have been thinking about this a while... based on a changing financial situation, I think I'm going to unpublish the $1 tier, making the lowest tier the $2 tier. FIRST, if you are CURRENTLY a $1 Patron, you can stay a $1 Patron as long as you choose. Unpublishing means that no NEW Patrons can become $1 Patrons. I am doing this for a few reasons...
1. my financial situation will be changing soon, and thus, am looking for a way to make sure I have enough income to continue producing videos of the quality I can be satisfied with. 2. I've noticed that the vast majority of creators in my similar niche do not offer $1 Memberships, and I can see why. The difference between $1 and $2 (at the individual level) isn't so big (though I understand it might be big for many!), but as a creator, having most people be on the $2 tier would make a big difference in terms of what I can invest back into the channel.
So I hope you understand. I will be making a Patreon exclusive video soon on a random topic I've been thinking about, and alongside that I will be advertising that the $1 tier is being unpublished so those who cannot afford the $2 tier can join. Shortly after I will unpublish the $1 tier.
Hope you all understand why I'm doing this... and again, this will not affect people currently on the $1 tier unless you edit or delete your pledge! Thank you to everyone who has been able to support the channel so far!

I haven't uploaded videos to Patreon early as I often end up finishing up and uploading the night before a sponsorship deadline :S And that upload process can take about 8 hours depending where I am located... so with this slow internet, uploading to Patreon separately would double the process. If scheduled youtube videos were unlisted instead of privated (unshareable), I would definitely share them with you all early! But I didn't think people would be interested in watching exclusively on Patreon! If so, then I may consider my videos being accessible here... however, they are quite large filesizes so not sure if I even have enough space for that... I am interested in working with Nebula but I heard they don't really respond to people reaching out directly, you have to be referred by someone who already works there. Not sure though... I'll think about ways I can make Patreon a more cohesive experience. But there is some exclusive videos on here if you haven't seen them!

Working both as a test to spot errors, but also as an incentive to pay. I don’t like YouTube and prefer to get high quality videos on Patreon and Nebula. I would appreciate if your full videos were posted in the Patreon feed. I appreciate your good work and enjoy the full content and was surprised to only see trailers when I came to support you on Patreon. I really hope that you can get a Nebula deal, you have a level of quality fitting that platform and even exceeding the quality of the average Nebula video. I hear Nebula is more stable income, but I don’t know the details. Worth a try reaching out to Nebula though.
