Livestream tomorrow!!!!!
Added 2022-11-23 00:19:03 +0000 UTCGoing to do a lgbtq fundraising livestream tomorrow!!!!!! It should be lots of fun, and it’ll be a nice moment of queer joy in such dark times…
my idea for now is that we’re going to take some time in the stream for everyone to look up their local queer orgs, tweet out the link with a specific hashtag So I can find the tweet, and i donate all the superchats and ad revenue from the stream evenly among the orgs (after I verify they’re legit)…. This way people are also tweeting donate links so that they get attention.
if this totally fails im still donating the ad revenue and superchats at least to some national LGBTQ charities. but the reason I want to try the local thing is because I think local LGBTQ orgs could use the most help and often do the most impactful work :-) hope to see you all tomorrow Wednesday 7pm EST
