I would love a thorough timeline on the Styles/Queerbaiting issue, because it's so murky and nuanced. Theoretically, inclusivity should mean no one should feel forced to pick a label, officially "come out," or prove themselves. His inspirations are mostly Queer icons (hence the Queer aesthetics) and his public statements, nods, and donations all point to allyship. But damn, his interview for the My Policeman PR about Queer sexuality in film is so damn ignorant and patronizing.
