New Patron perks?

$10 tier
- All other rewards
- Suggest and vote for topics to be covered for live streams on main channel (to be conducted at least 3 times a year)
- Handwritten thank you note
$5 tier
- All other benefits
- Access to secret discord :)
$2 tier
- All other benefits
- First round of votes on video topics
- name read aloud in credits
$1 tier
- Name in credits
- Access to exclusive patron content like: monthly patron only live streams, updates, sneak previews
I also want to get your thoughts on whether or not the "per creation" thing is working for all of you? The reason I have it as charging "per creation" is because I upload at the most once a month anyways, so it seemed to make sense at the time. Do you think I should switch to "monthly" charges or is "per creation" still the best? I feel like the "per creation" scares people away, and the monthly is what I see most people use, but I also don't want to charge if the production takes more than a month and I don't upload anything. Thanks!

I like the new tiers AND the monthly payment scheme, for all of the reasons stated in the above comment.

2021-08-30 05:13:17 +0000 UTCI'm going to play devil's advocate for changing to a monthly payment here. Monthly payments make your income more predictable, thus it gives you the peace of mind to devote more time to making videos (if you want to!). It also doesn't penalize you for taking on big, complicated topics that take longer to produce. Of course, as long as you post on a roughly 3-4 week schedule, the difference between the two would be minor in practice.
