Hmm, imo I don’t think Hiling was paying more attention to her real son once he came around. I think that scene with her introducing Bojji to his new baby brother was just supposed to be taken as is, no ulterior motive. However, the whole flashback showing their bond briefly from the beginning to now looked like it was showcasing how Hiling became more strict with Bojji overtime to keep him safe since he was “weaker” and that in turn put a wedge between their relationship. Especially since Hiling is the type of person to seem cold, when she’s actually not once you actually get to know her. Definitely like a tsundere, lmao. I think she genuinely loves and cares about Bojji, she’s just bad at words. Again, it makes sense why she didn’t want Bojji to be King despite Bojji wanting to be. She wants to protect him.
