the bird is EXACTLY the same. just drawn beter. go look at the one in dressrossa again. and notice how the camera shows and focuses on that bird as it flies away from Orochi's castle. Many hints.

Now idk who that traitor is but that person is from Kurozumi clan and not just someone who just has a connection (by connection I take it as someone who is in contact with Kurozumi clan) with Orochi and whatnot.
