been waiting for boltgun to go on sale or hit gamepass every since steph talked about it last spring, finally started it yesterday, as an old school doom fan i've been loving it, even if, as steph said at the time, it does feel a bit samey the deeper you go. Here's hoping space marine 2 is as good. Rebirth has been a fun bit of nostalgia but it's also reminded me just how much I disliked FF7 remake part 1's combat system. It's a decent idea, but the execution is far too chaotic for my brain. FF16 got a bit simple, but I always felt like I knew what I was doing fighting in that. Hopefully part 3 gives us some sort of middle ground...and maybe a bit less ubisoft style open world bloat.
