i caught that the ants didnt die but forgot about the void part and didnt see the metaphor, i thought he just saw them watching the ants and pretended to kill them and fooled them as a small gotcha and doesnt matter if the old guy wants him dead cuz if he succeeds hell squash him like an ant in revenge as he said said in earlier episodes, but both apply :D lol

They showed him "stepping on" the ants but many people don't notice that subtlety. The ant metaphor was hilarious. The principals talking about how you shouldn't bend the rules for an individual to have a stable society. However, Gojo gives no shits and can trample them at any time, but he also has the power to do nothing to them even as he walks over them. It's pretty much representative of what Gojo said before. He could kill every single head of Jujutsu easily, but it wouldn't work with his goal of reforming Jujutsu society. He's strong enough to not harm anything as he flexes his strength.
