Hi Steph, there's a podcast called "Skeptics Guide to the Universe" about science news. You may be interested in the most recent two episodes (from 8/19 and 8/26). They talked about a poll about people who went through surgery and whether they regretted it or not. That included trans surgery. They didn't give numbers but said the number of people who regretted gender reassignment surgery was "statistically insignificant". The only surgery people regretted less had to do with helping people take a piss. Those that DID regret it cited the lack of support from friends/family and not the surgery itself. So take that haters!
