Gabi is brainwashed into hating the poeple of paradis Island and was told that they are devils. She's not the same as early Eren cause she hasent suffered the loss that he has and she's so eager to be the Armortitan and kill more innocent people.

Most likely because of nostalgic and because we've built up more with their story. But if you look at both sides, they are both right and wrong, war is a terrible thing (as quoted by Zeke).
