Honestly Tamaki doesn't really "improve" until the very end of the second season. She maintains being a running gag character unfortunately. Second season is far better and has more interesting characters in my opinion. Its really up to you if you want to continue watching after you finish this season , just don't expect Tamaki to improve next season if you do decide to watch.
