They didn't like the spurting blood and fatalities in Mortal Kombat or how you could be the bad guy in GTA. One of the other complaints in GTA was including prostitutes in the game.

Also why do we still discriminate against sex workers? These days they are being exploited by corporations like any other worker rather than by mafias, gangs and garden variety pimps, if there was at any point a 'them and us' that went out of the window the moment corporations started directly milking their earnings.
