FIFA And In-Game Gambling's Black Market (The Jimquisition)

(New merch store: www.thejimporium.com)

An alleged crypto mining farm turned to out to be an alleged FIFA Coin mining farm, highlighting the ridiculousness of EA's sprawling microtransaction economy.

As players "skip the grind" in less legal ways, Electronic Arts continues a years-long struggle against the FIFA black market. It's a struggle EA deserves.

I’ve been lucky enough to only once find fraudulent charges on my credit card. Someone had broken a super weak password on my PSN account, bought some version of FIFA, then bought a bunch of credits for it, and finally sent those credits off to some getaway account. Messed with once. For fucking FIFA bs tokens. Bright side of the story is Sony were quick to refund after calling them up.

Steph, I forgot to chime in on Twitter, but you're looking great lately (and I see I'm not the only one who's noticed)! Getting into wrestling really has been a great step for you and it's been great to see more of your matches!

I agree with Helen You're also moving around much better in the Ring and I can't wait to see You and Effy!

Chiming in with a few other people to say congrats on the weightloss. It's a crazy difference between now and one year ago 🖤

Hey Steph, this doesn't have much to do with the content of the video but damn are you lookin fiiiiiine, keep up the good work

Sarah Alderdice

Fuck EA. ...Yeah, I do feel a bit better.

Thank you so much! I'm really pleased with how things are going. Getting closer and closer to looking how I want to look.

I am glad that no one is posting about how this isn't actually gambling because of X. I remember this one conversation I had where someone said "it didn't use money" so I asked him if betting a Dimond watch on a poker table was still gambling. Then he said how you could trade out your chips so I pointed to the market where people trade real money for fake cards. That person was not pleased.

Love everything about this one. Well all of them, really. But especially this one.

Just wanna say Steph, that you are looking great. The new look and the weight loss are doing wonders.
