GDC and E3 got canceled, WWE is hosting events in empty venues, and pretty much everybody has been impacted by the virus in some way, shape, or form. So let's talk about how it's touched the game industry, and then we can just go OFF on American healthcare and cAAApitalism, because why not?

2020-03-19 12:09:02 +0000 UTCLet's have a round of bitter applause to YouTube for cracking down on videos that dared mention the coronavirus for an extended period of time, as well... ...And while I don't laud any politicians specifically looking to drum up racial animus over Covid-19, it should be noted that the attempts by some in China to re-write the narrative of the virus' Chinese origins is at least equally scummy. Beijing's early attempts to stifle news of the outbreak and oppress medical professionals who dared mention it should not be forgotten.

As the biggest swinging dick in the room, they were controlling the E3 narrative, likely to Sony's detriment. Now that's fucked, but at least they don't have to spend an infinitesimally small amount of the vast amounts of money they have on a shitty green laser show.
