Added 2020-02-05 14:03:14 +0000 UTCI'm a big Dark Crystal fan - loved the movie, adored the Netflix show. The latter has been adapted to videogame form as The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance Tactics, and it's really quite bad.
A bare bones turn-based strategy RPG that runs poorly, looks dated, and plays without any of the streamlining and convenience of a modern game, Age of Resistance Tactics feels like a cheap and cynical cash-in.
Well, it's hard to call it "cheap" when they want twenty bucks for this garbage.

Worse though, about 10 years later it turned out that I had a deep down infection in said root canal, and I had to have actual surgery to remove the root from that tooth. That was far worse than the root canal. And then a few years later that tooth cracked and I had to have a gold crown. At some point my mouth will stop fucking costing me all the fucking money in the world, but I fear that point will come out when all the teeth have fallen out of my stupid head.

2020-02-05 16:08:43 +0000 UTCMy biggest problem with the Age of Resistance thing... um... its a prequel to Dark Crystal, so we all know how it ends. All those characters in it? All those protagonists we get attached to? More fucked than a third party candidate in November. :/ In the movie the gelflings are down to just two people, and the resistance is completely missing. So yeah, the good guys lose, BADLY.
