to pour salt on the fuck konami, they're slipping in the card game area too now! Despite them having been actually decent in the past not crediting artists on the cards, making the game increasingly complicated, and short printing cards to drive demand aside, they decided to pussy out of a rule change for some ungodly reason and introduce a new shittier format to Yu-Gi-Oh the likes of which I really wish I haven't seen. Seriously, fuck MR4+. You basically overhauled the game with MR4, and now, fucking *now* two years later when all the hate finally died, now you're taking a step back to make the game what it used to be, making Links useless, removing a layer of strategy from the game, and crippling pendulums even more somehow! They were doing so well with Speed Dueling/Duel Links and Turbo Duels, but look where we are now! Fuck MR4+, fuck Rush Dueling, its ugly template and its plain retarded rules, and fuck Konami. Sorry for the rant, especially since it's not game related, but I'd thought that if there'd be one person who'd appreciate it it'd be you. On the gaming topic, I am overall happy with this year, we've been getting a lot of gems these past few ones and I'd like to think it tips the scales at least a bit out of the dud's crap filled hands.

The lack of Shenmue III surprises me. Not even a tiny dig at it. But Happy New Year Jim. Hopefully the new "decade" isn't as crap as this one was.

I actually liked Crackdown 3 better honestly, Saints Row 4 moved too far into wacky territory for my liking and you could definitely tell it was originally meant to be DLC for the third game as it real pacing issues.

Long shot but I'm hoping Anthem recovers with the rework supposedly in the works. A good few updates have been on time and fairly decent, the big one being Icetide. Only time will tell however.

It has been quite a year for video games. Yikes. Also loved the high production value of this episode. That Cornflake Homunculus "commercial" had me believing it was real for a few moments. 😆

Strongly disagree with Crackdown 3 being on the list(which I for one did not forget about in the least, it was not "lazy" or "slapdash" at all if you ask me, personally I don't think every sequel has to massively evolve, I think Crackdown 3's core gameplay loop was more then compelling enough to keep me going and I don't think me liking the game means I have "bad ideas" or whatever) IMO there were FAR worse games in 2019 that should've been on the list instead of that one- Mario Kart Tour, Shenmue 3, Layers of Fear 2, Travis Strikes Again and Elder Scrolls Blades.
