Podquisition 253: Jeff Beezos

Imagine all the good we could do with that sweet Bezos dough.

Anyway, let's talk about Blizzard's continued rubbish, Overwatch's shoddy Switch port, The Witcher 3's good Switch port, and Children of Morta.

As another guy on his way through his 30s, I don't really have time to play as many games as I used to and a drip fed stream of quality titles that fortunately still come every year keeps me occupied mostly... However, I am very thankful for Jim and other great YouTube critics for helping me nagivating the ever-growing ocean of shit hyped and pushed out by EA, Actiblizz, Ubisoft and other shitty publishers. Thank God for Jim! And fuck Konami :D

Children of Morta was so good, it reminded me a lot of Rogue Legacy with its constant progress.

I need you to understand that this is hilarious, and I have been enjoying it.

As a mid-30's person, I feel old. πŸ˜† I don't need more games but your enthusiasm for Children of Morta (here and your Jimpressions) had me very interested. I got a code a few months ago for the Closed Alpha of CrownTrick. No hack & slash but continued progress rogue-like with a cute art style. It's developed by a Tencent dev though so...don't know if I'll be going back. But it was fun to play when I did play it. Just mentioning in case you do want to try out another rogue-like. πŸ™‚ Sorry you got bopped at the end there. Stupid ISP. But don't worry, Conrad and Laura didn't change the structure, title, or intent of the show at all. πŸ˜‰ I had more but I have forgotten it now. Great show nonetheless. πŸ˜ƒ

I preordered Overwatch Switch and didn't realise they were offering cancellations (oops), but I gave it a try anyway since I'm a poor student who doesn't want to waste money, and playing in handheld seems to run way better? Which is good for me, I prefer handheld play in general, but outside of some very brief floating orange orbs at the start of a match, the frame rate is consistent and the motion controls are much easier to use.
