Well, we agree to disagree, but what you just said only seems to improve my argument. Conflicted about killing Rosinante? I doubt it, he was going to make him eat the Ope Ope no mi and have him die in order to obtain immortality. As for Vergo and Monet, in a nutshell what he said was "Sorry dudes but I need to blow you up together with Law and the Strawhats in order to save Caesar, forgive me please?" his ambition clearly was more important to him than sparing his "family" at least from my point of view. The rage from when his family is hurt or insulted e.g. when Pica was laughed at I believe was only an act to inspire loyalty and make better use of his puppet "family". He might not win Captain of the year award, but manipulator of the year indeed he would.

Damion, your absolutely right about that! Doffy does in fact care. It's just not within his personality to show the type of emotion you would expect. Doffy called him an idiot in the same manner as the Strawhats calling Luffy an idiot when he makes the wrong choice during a critical moment. The only difference is that Doffy is willing to sacrifice "everything" for his ambitions, and his executives are 100% behind him. Even if it means offering up their own lives.

I get that you can point at that instance and say he called him an idiot but Doffy ain't the babying type if his crew mess up he'll call it as he sees it. There have been to many instances whereby himself we see he's conflicted about killing his brother, consulting Vergo and Monet when they were about to die, and how he's genuinely showed rage when his family is hurt or in trouble. Can't say he's the Captain of the year or anything but he does care.

Law is right about Doffy and his "family", he doesn't really care about them. This is exemplified when Trebol gets cut, with him saying "What an idiot!" instead of "Trebol!" or "Are you okay?". Trebol's scream is "Pigyaaa" which is the same scream the Tontattas made when they "died" by being stepped on by Trebol. Finally when Trebol got cut, all the Tontattas looked towards where he was and felt relieved, probably because he was in charge of the factory where all the Tontattas where being kept as slaves. Omake: When will the next batch be out girl? We dying to know XD

I never understood why the translators had to be "smart" at the end of 725. Everything was set up to have Fourth on the black screen, even with the pause between Luffy saying Gia (gear) and Fosu (Fourth)

Doffy AKA Joker is so similar to DC's Joker. Down to the way he laughs to process all emotions, his past trauma that led him to this twisted mindset, his purely evil sadostic nature, and even his Gotham-esque mob crime boss pirate crew. I would imagine Oda did that very much on purpose. It makes Doffy my favorite OP villain.
