Yes very over rated. Does not belong anywhere near the conversation for being the best anime. It has nothing on One Piece, HunterxHunter, or Naruto, and those are all shounen, and one is made by the same person. I like Yu Yu Hakusho, and yes I’ve watched it, but it was extremely overrated. 6.5/10 for me.

2 was definitely MUCH better than 1 and better than 3, I can see why you love that one. For me 4 is overall the best, mainly with the direction 4 takes (probably 4 > 2 > 5 > 3 > 1 personally, anime-only disregarding the manga). I agree though, JoJo is a lot more enjoyable if you just give in to the "it just works" sentiment, which I am unable to do at times depending on my mood lol.

Honestly she may not like JoJo 1 and 3 given how perceptive she can be and how frustrated she gets in some one piece moments (with good reasons). All those cheese, asspulls and making characters have lowered IQs even though they've shown to be much smarter (other ones are generally good to super great, 3 is like half epicness + meme and half braindead). PS. I'm best roasted dead, not alive.

Its the show on par with GoT and One Piece in popularity.... a show is huge if they managed to get McDonald’s return a menu item that was gone for over 20 years that was released 1 time for Mulan, and they had thousands of people line up for the day for a sauce!...... I wish they animate the Thousand Year Blood War arc. They could easily make it even better than the manga since they don’t have to worry about catching up to an ongoing series like the original bleach anime, and Naruto. So fillers can just be for improving the story rather than to halt the story.

Yeah she’s usually done like 2. Before it was black clover and one piece, then she did one piece and game of thrones. She’s been doing well with just doing 2 series. Anymore than three could be too much. Two series is a good medium for series to catch up to. Any more than that should be series that she’s caught up with.

Yeah I agree with you there. There are plenty of series I would regard as better, especially now compared to back then since 80’s and early 90’s series have aged considerably while newer series have reinvented how we see anime/manga.. Hell Hakusho manga was so rushed at the end that the anime had to fill in the final arc. You could tell even Togashi himself wanted to end it and write a series that had more longevity. It certainly did have its problems.

I do agree Hunter x Hunter is better than YuYu Hakusho but it’s kinda like Dragon Ball where a lot of people grew up watching it (which as much as I love Dragon Ball I think Hakusho is better) and it’s regarded as a classic. Plus a lot more people relate with the simpler themes and the characters in Hakusho. Not a S tier series to me but certainly an A. While it has a good anime adaptation it has certainly aged.

Yeah I agree with that, my only problem with Demon Slayer is that there’s only 8 episodes that aired. JoJo’s has a lot more to go through with each part almost feeling like a different anime that’s just connected with the last.

Voted for JoJo’s it’s really fun and you have a lot of content to go through. Every part is vastly different from each too which keeps the series fresh. Plus the further you get the more bizarre it gets you can really see growth and evolution in the series as you go through each part similar to One Piece since its manga is long running.
