SolSeraph - Taking A Dump On ActRaiser's Grave (Jimpressions)
Added 2019-07-17 14:27:20 +0000 UTCSolSeraph got some attention before its swift release by claiming to be the spiritual successor to ActRaiser. If that were so, ActRaiser would be turning in its grave.
A dreadful action-platformer bolted onto a pitiful tower defense, SolSeraph is embarrassingly cheap, tacky, and boring. It looks and plays like a mobile game, and is way overpriced.
Just play Bloodstained. Even if you've already played Bloodstained.

Actraiser was at least a good action platformer with some neat ideas. I mean, town management was simple... build things, eventually hit area with an earthquake to make more room for better houses, go stab things. But it was well done and didn't linger.

2019-07-17 18:00:15 +0000 UTCI think I've been seeing promotions for Sol Seraph pop up on Steam. Good to know it isn't worth paying attention to. Even without your commentary, the gameplay just looks boring.
