Sonic the Hedgehog is upsetting.

Looks Dr. Seuss Hollywood style to me.

<i>"Why the human teeth?"</i> - <b>Laura Kate Dale, articulating our nameless dread of that which gnaws at the veil (2019)</b> I've only watched some of GG Gab's steams for <i>Days Gone</i>, it's fairly fun to watch somebody else play, but I'm sort of with Gavin on this. It definitely feels like a slog to locate content so you can slog towards more slightly different content - which seems to be looking for motorbike fuel 75% of the time. Also, I don't think you can switch off that "this here is free country boy/NOT STEP ON SNEK" dude who runs that Oregon radio station bollocks. How I wished that guy would just stop talking.

I'm trying to listen to the Podquisition, but in my head all I can hear is Steve of the Eastside SCP Show reading a somber and distressing article about "The Hedgehog Fingers Man" from the foundation.

Gotta echo what Jim said about how much frustration can undo the horror elements of a game. Personally that was why I can't enjoy Outlast or very many of the invincible stalker based games. As soon as I die too many times, I get immensely frustrated and stop finding any elements scary. I got from jumping in my seat to throwing up middle fingers and swearing very quickly.

Hell, I like it (haven't played Days Gone yet"... it is really the art of motorcycle maintenance... it's a repeated loop that is calming, satisfying, and rewarding. It's sorta zen

There are a lot of people, myself included, who find a game that has a loop they like and will play it cause it is satisfying. Sekiro is a game that demands a lot of you from start to finish. Days Gone seems to hit that "Supply, upgrade, maintain, move forward repeat" loop a lot like.

I think Gavin really hit the nail on the head with what he said about Days Gone. It's not a bad game, but there are lot of games out there that do the same but do it better. Why would I play it when I can play more Sekiro? I was surprised by how many people seem to enjoy it, good for them, it's just not for me.

Yes Jim I agree, the Manhog needs SCP assignment immediately. Maybe it can share a bunk with SCP 058.
