How Apex Legends Saved EA’s Ass… In Spite Of EA

I decided to write in detail about Apex Legends' success and how it rescued EA, something we discussed on this week's Jimquisition but didn't do a deep dive for.

I think it’s worth mentioning that money did flow into streamers , which apparently got to play a bit earlier and then all of them went full steam in twitch promoting the game as „apex partners“ , such kind of hype does help people wanting to be part of. Luckily the product does live up to the hype, so that helped. Just pointing out that some marketing was used, not upfront and probably not with such big numbers as a full campaign but nowadays, investing in streamers and yotubers helps the hype.
