Yes, it's more total nonsense from a story perspective. As a game? Well, it's a ton of bloody fun, because it's a very good game!

My girlfriend was sitting next to me studying while that cut scene was running, and we both just stopped and stared blankly at the screen the whole time as if it were the pain olympics... Fantastic game, $60+ worth of fun content in my opinion; narrative is a hopelessly tangled ball of string (not my opinion, fact).

I'll avoid turning into Abdul Alhazred and just say I'm happy for fans of the series. If anyone can get their hands on a worthwhile Triple A game in this age of industry skulduggery I'm pleased for them. EDIT: "Mickey Mouse Operation" I just got that... ;3
