Yeah, survival mechanics that just give you debuffs (and, better yet, bonuses) are fine. When being hungry makes you FUCKING DIE, it's just obnoxious. (This is what really killed <i>Don't Starve</i> for me.)

You guys are funny and interesting, cover all the relevant games and news items, and you're all honest and opinionated without being contrarian or judgmental.
