Combining multiple genres and examining the relationship between game and audience, The Hex is a poignant, witty, cleverly written adventure spanning six protagonists and six very different - but smartly cohesive - stories.

I don't know why artists even bother worrying about being called pretentious, especially in the video game sphere. A huge portion of the consumer market will call you pretentious or spam "im 14 and this is deep" at you for even attempting to have messages or themes in your game, and another large segment will hide their distaste for moral judgment behind accusations of your themes not matching game mechanics or ludo-narrative dissonance (see: Bioshock Infinite).
