Im really dissapointed that you didnt address the main criticisms against sonicfox. The guy made a popshot political comment that was unnecessary in a game awards ceremony, and then went on twitter completely full of himself. Anyone who disagreed with him or didnt like how he was acting he labeled a homophobe or a racist. Yet you didnt address any of that. You just did what every other person does with a political agenda. Cherry pick only the ones that step over the line and hold that up as the one and only reason that everyone dislikes him. Are there trolls and homophobes who are targeting him? Probably. But 99% of the negativity hes getting is because hes acting like a complete pompus asshole who doesnt have a humble bone in his body.

So... here's where I come in. I've created a few games on a very small scale. None of my games have used copy protection. My second game occupied a similar niche to the first one, got better customer reviews, came in at a similar price-point, and was uploaded to file-sharing sites less than twenty-four hours after becoming commercially available. To date, it sold about one-quarter what that first one did. I also have "fond" memories of trying to play The Suffering: Ties that Bind and having it cause my computer repeatedly crash because it didn't play nice with my firewall software and having to download new drivers FOR THE DRM to get it to work. Look, DRM sucks. Big companies punishing paying customers for things they haven't done suck. Talking heads presuming to trivialize, pigeonhole, and insult customers who have the gall to complain about their lousy customer-harming policies super-extra-double-mega-with-a-side-of-fries suck. And not in the way that brings anyone joy. But let us not forget that pirates also suck. That watching months or years of hard work getting offered for free by someone who didn't do any of that work sucks. That the crummy, immature attitude that everything should be free is a slap in the face to everyone who hopes to make a living in ANY form of art and has led us in a beeline to "watch your child avatar get strangled or pay up" schemes and worse. (And my frustration with people who essentially say in almost the same breath "This isn't worth paying for, why is it taking so long for more of this thing I said I wouldn't pay for to come out, and why isn't anything good coming out in this niche/genre/platform" makes my frustration with EA seem like a tepid bath in comparison. At least EA creates something *other* that the normalization of destructive idiocy.)

First off, fricking DRM is like the TSA (in the USA): more security theatre that only makes the ultra-rich believe they are safer (even though they aren't). Second, I've been a huge fan of SonicFox and love how unapologetic he is about being a furry and gay. Third, your videos are always great but today's close was brilliant. 😃
