I agree with your points about the remaster. It's a bit sad that Fromsoft didn't push the remaster further and really fix all of the glaring issues (like Bed of Chaos). Especially since they admitted Bed of Chaos was a mistake. I also loved the change of filming location. Very brave to film in Lordran. π

2018-06-04 18:51:33 +0000 UTCHere is my Dark Souls story as (maybe) answer to the question posed: Since I saw the first game back in the day, with some personal bias against action RPGs, I got never hooked on the series. Looking at following installments only cemented my own mild disinterest formulating like 'ok, people say it's good, it's not for me though, maybe I get it some other time'. Now counting myself as a potential customer to be persuaded by the remaster, they really did a most basic job of it and it cannot convince me to invest into the series. Sad maybe, but not my loss.
