PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Is A Successful Failure (The Jimquisition)

PUBG might have been a massive hit, but the behavior of the team behind it indicates it's a failure in one very important way.

"This may be the first time a video game developer got upset by getting free advertising." Not quite. That honor goes to Nintendo, for hating and taking down Let's Plays. Because, well, Let's Plays ARE free advertising.

Holy Zen!

Perfect.i love it

I still think their Minecraft likes not souls likes. I think soul likes are more a punishing (but usually fair) combat system.

I saw this coming from the very start. One was going to overtake the other eventually but to think the people at Bluehole are taking the whole situation immaturely. saying that the frying pan was unique and iconic to PlayerUnknown's is just utter stupidity. Also trying to stop other studios from copying the same type of gameplay. I wonder what is next. "The trees are unique to our game"?

Dont forget its in Warcraft and Minecraft ... oh and I think Everquest. If Im remembering correctly in addition to a dead cat the MUD I played had a frying pan.

I adore playing PUBG regularly, but not as much as I adored this video. Really good roundup. The mobile version is VERY well done, exceeded my expectations, but other than that... I can't quite figure out where all that sweet cash is going. I want this game to be better.

I would love to see a Top Ten Video Game Frying Pans as a specific mockery of PUBG.

I, too, wonder how much poo is in me.

Glad bluehole was busy with this shit and not wasting their time on hit detection and anti cheat measures.
