Today, my technical team and I had a long discussion, and we've decided to give Gumroad another try. However, this will take about a month to fully restore. Once the new Gumroad is up, there will be no NSFW content. Users will download the photobooks directly from my own website, kokuhui.com, to avoid any unnecessary issues.
I’m also really looking forward to Patreon’s SHOP feature being upgraded soon. This way, subscribers won’t have to purchase my photobooks on two different platforms!
Thank you again for all your suggestions; it’s great to learn about so many other platforms worth trying. Maybe one day, if I decide to expand to a new platform, I’ll be sure to let you all know right away. For now, I’m focused on making the most of my Patreon. Love you all!

Hi, dear subscribers and fans!
Unfortunately, I have some bad news to share with you today - My Gumroad store will be permanently closed.
Recently, my Gumroad was forcibly shut down for a few days, and despite my efforts to reduce the presence of NSFW content in the "browseable" sections, today Gumroad has still taken down all my photobooks. I believe that Gumroad's future direction may be moving toward banning all NSFW content. Sadly, I can't change my creative direction just because of Gumroad's policy changes, and I believe that's not something you would want to see either.
I do have some plans going forward:
1. Patreon seems to be enhancing its SHOP feature, which might meet my needs for selling photobooks. However, I applied for this feature over two months ago, and Patreon has yet to start testing the upgraded SHOP feature. (The current SHOP feature does not allow NSFW content and cannot offer discounts to my subscribers.)
2. I am also considering moving my retail photobooks to Fantia, but it seems Fantia can't offer discounts to my Patreon subscribers, and I'm unsure if users who are accustomed to using English and Chinese will find it convenient to purchase photobooks individually on Fantia.
I'd like to seek your help and advice on which platform would be best for independently selling my photobooks. I know there are some "experts" among you. Feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message—any help would be greatly appreciated!

2. 我也计划是否把我的零售写真转移到Fantia来销售，但似乎Fantia也无法给我的Patreon订阅者提供优惠折扣，并且我不知道习惯使用英文和中文的用户能否便捷的在Fantia单独购买写真。
其实我也想寻求一下你们的帮助和建议，我该在哪个平台进行写真的独立售卖比较好？我知道你们之中隐藏了很多阅图无数的“高手”。你们可以给我留言或私信我，我都将非常感谢！

2024-08-13 14:03:51 +0000 UTCCame to say this. Anybody living outside Japan is going to have a difficult time buying anything on Fantia or other Japanese sites now. They are all dropping support for our typical credit cards. It also has smallish data limits AFAIK, similar to booth.

2024-08-11 15:20:05 +0000 UTCI just looked at Booth to see what the limits are. You can only upload 1GB files, and image length/width can't go beyond 5000px. It is so weird to have limits like that. I don't understand why Gumroad has an issue with this kind of content. I'm struggling to understand their reasoning behind it. Another site you could try to sell on is Boosty. It's similar to Patreon. People can follow for free, you can make tiers, and although it doesn't have a store page, you can make posts paywalled. Once they buy it, it's unlocked for them forever. It just doesn't have a coupon option. They also support VISA, MasterCard, and UnionPay. You seem to have a lot of options to try now, I hope you find one that works best for you! Maybe Patreon will get off their ass soon and finally let you use a store page here ^^; It would be great to have everything in one place.

2024-08-11 13:30:41 +0000 UTCthank you for taking in conseideration the ammount of the photosets would be irrelevant, since the Tier could be a fixed price for exemple 3 Sets that of the side that were not in the patreon of the month could bee like 2 photosets of the month and 1 from another month release ofc thoses people would had to dm you with the sets they wanted some cosplsyers do like this hope i explaned myself well :)

2024-08-11 13:12:46 +0000 UTCI guess best option could be just adding a dedicated tier on Patreon where you can set either a number of past photo books that can be purchased within that tier or a max amount of $ which can be reached putting multiple albums together. Basically I agree with Pintas opinion, so you would not have to worry about exploring or finding a new website ( ╹▽╹ )

Honestly, the photobooks I produce might be considered too explicit on these platforms 😅. In the past, my payment account was suspended for this reason. Booth was actually one of the platforms I initially considered using, but I found out that their file size limit was only 500MB, whereas most of my photobooks exceed that size. I'm not sure if Booth has improved this limitation since then. Thank you very much for your suggestion! I think I'll keep an eye on Gank!

2024-08-11 12:32:32 +0000 UTCI completely agree with your suggestion, but the number of HD photobooks I release each month isn't fixed—sometimes it's 2, and other times it can be 3-4. This has been one of my concerns. The best solution would be if Patreon could upgrade its SHOP feature. That way, all subscribers could not only receive their monthly rewards but also have the option to purchase their favorite older photobooks at a discounted price. Non-subscribers could still purchase individual photobooks at full price whenever they like. I'll first work on resolving the current issue with Gumroad not being able to process purchases. 2024-08-11 12:31:44 +0000 UTCi would just remove the "sell on the side" Photosets Discount would disapear and every photoset would be a montly Patreon i myself would prefer this way so i didnt have to worry about two diferente sites with diferent sets but if you have to, you can add atleast a tier option of being able to buy "older" Photosets and the person would have to message you with the name sets you have on the list
