The Creation Club has gifted a bounty unto Fallout 4, and it looks like things are little too much like microtransactions and mods got welded together horrifically.

2017-08-31 18:07:40 +0000 UTCthe problem is that if bethesda can get away with having people pay for free content then others will think it is something they can do as well and eventually free mods will be shut down and paid mods will be the norm the sims1 did it and it really fucked custom creation up for a few years with creators hiding behind paywalls or just leaving the modding community entirely while scavengers stole content to put up in the official pay community and ea took a cut through subscriptions

That you can but don't have to pay for mods? Like when you go to youtube for free videos but you can also go on patreon to support your favourite content creator if you want.

I fucking knew Bethesda would try something like this again. Bethesda make some decent games but Skyrim without mods (at least on PC) is a very mediocre dated experience.

We all know what will happen if this is allowed to stand. They don't deserve a "chance", this is microtransactions and I don't want any of them in my single player RPG.
