Wow what an asshole.

So I just got a chance to play it and I'm going to have to disagree with Jim on this one. I think Jim was trying to come from the general consumers POV. That would explain the entitled tone.

So Jim, is this better or worse than Fur Fun?

This well-reasoned review was a joy to read. Somehow still looking forward to playing this, but the review was lovely.

Banjo and Kazooie and other collectathon games are not good games. They are primitive games developed for children. The only people who love them are those whose mommies and daddies would buy them only an N64. Some things should stay in the past.

Even Gamespot gave it a 6, my dude. The reason the controls and camera are "old school" is because we've since figured out how to develop better features in modern games. Some old school things should stay in the past where they belong. Shit controls and camera are not features.

Seems about in line with everything I was worried about so I have come to the conclusion that I will wait for a sale on this one. Too bad though.

Basically he can't hack the old school control/camera's and he gave it a 2/10. A bit weird to heavily criticise it over something that it was actually backed for but w/e. I'm pretty sure I'll still like it.

Snake pass is a fantastic game. I've made it to the third area (7 hours in) so far and still love it. I have issues with the grip button forcing Noodle to let go, but I'm probably not using it right. This forces me to either take things slow or work on my speed run strategies, both of which are enjoyable in their own way. Environmental design-10 Character design-10 Music-8 Gameplay-9 Overall, I would give it a 9. I haven't had this much fun looking for collectibles in a platformer since Mario Sunshine.
