That would be an interesting thing to talk about although I don't completely agree with you. I think the DLC for Mario Kart 8 is fantastic and is model for how it should be done. $11.99 got you 16 tracks, 8 vehicles and 6 characters. I felt that that was great value for cost. I feel exactly the opposite about Smash Brothers DLC. $6 for 1 character and one stage seems outrageous to me. $4 for just characters without stages is also outrageous. If the game had launched using that pricing then it would have been over $200.
2016-12-28 22:07:48 +0000 UTCHey if possible would a future Jimquisition consider looking at the Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart DLC practices? I've strongly cited Hal's approach to Character-voted DLC in Smash, and Nintendo's First-Party themed level and character additions in Mario Kart 8 as examples of Downloadable content being much more worthwhile than the average corporate cash-grab. However seeing as DLC as a concept is an Unhealthy trend in general for AAA games where do you think Smash's Community-Driven DLC stands as I can find few other Console games that employ this approach?

2016-12-26 21:59:33 +0000 UTCThis might be an odd question but is it still important to click the thumbs up button on your videos? Just clicked thumbs up and realized I haven't been doing that for years now for any Youtube video I watch.
