The Jimquisition: How Consoles Broke The 'Play Now' Promise

A harsh reflection, perhaps, but a bloody true one. Their makers consider themselves in competition with PC, so they're asking for some harsh home truths.

Oh boy I feel old. My last console is a PS2 and we stopped buying consoles since then. It's ridiculous how easily replaceable they are. At least my PC has more functional uses than just running games...
2016-10-18 12:14:23 +0000 UTCI absolutely HATE it when I buy or rent a game, insert the disk, but then have to wait 2 hours or LONGER for the initial installment to complete. Wazupwitdat?! I inserted the game because I wanted to play the game. Instead of playing the game, I have to find an alternative to occupy my time. If I wanted to do laundry, read a book, surf the web, watch TV, or take a nap, then I wouldn't have inserted the damn game. I would have just done one of the alternatives from the get go. >:-(

2016-10-17 22:41:42 +0000 UTCYou do ??? my pc has just been upgraded with a new card for 6 years it has been faster than console and is till faster than console. And with the new cards from AMD combined with there cpus you can easy make a PC thats more than 2 times as fast and use i for menu years

2016-10-17 17:35:34 +0000 UTCi get what your saying jim i really do but the reason i dislike using pc is because of the fact that you have to constantly upgrade your pc. and even then there is no promise that it will play. at least with consolos you know the game will play.(most of the time)
