EPISODE 79: Slavery

It was only a few generations ago when large numbers of people in United States saw nothing wrong with the notion of buying, selling and owning human beings. Weirder yet, some slave owners were masters in the mental gymnastics required to feel morally justified in enslaving members of their own families, including their own children. In this episode, I am joined by Darryl Cooper from The Martyrmade Podcast for a conversation about the institution of slavery. At the beginning of the episode I address some of the questions I have received about Darryl Cooper.

Yeah. it's... complicated

I love every about your explanation (especially the Doc Holiday quote) 🥰 I found the MartyrMade guy looking to understand all the Epstein stuff a few years ago. I will never ever listen to it again and I can’t even recommend it to others it was so hard to get thru- but the first half of that series might have made me an adult, (for the first time, in my forties) It’s some of the most important info I’ve ever gotten and it changed everything.

Especially your collab re Sandy Creek and mylai, loved it, real thought provoking stuff. And good series on Israel was amazing. Very sad to see him go this way

Hey danieli, I'd reflect some of the earlier comments re dc previous pods that I found fascinating. Also the recent stuff he's done that I struggled to comprehend as the same person. Credit for being a friend and for an open mind. Not sure I'll listen but respect
