2016-10-07 21:51:30 +0000 UTCI feel like you're getting unnecessarily hung up on this "6 year old technology" idea... The internal combustion engine is 150 years old but we don't get upset with Ferrari for selling a ridiculously expensive product based on it. The way I look at it there are two questions worth asking: Is the technology suited to the purpose for which it's used? And, even if a more advanced technology exists (Tesla Motors) does the older tech still have a cost, accessibility or reliability advantage that makes it competitive or worthwhile. I can't answer those for the PSVR controllers. I've never owned a console so I don't even have a basis for comparison... But based on your review and the podcast it seems like the answer to both questions could be a provisional 'Yes', in which case it doesn't seem fair to get mad about the age of the technology.
