The Jimquisition: Delayed Reaction

We've hit a rough patch, but you have to see that this is the vocal minority, the very loud, mentally ill minority. There're millions of gamers out there, we don't see millions of tweets and comments like these, usually only a few dozen or maybe even a hundred, but they make up like a tenth of a percentile of all gamers, if that. Don't worry my friend, if we band together and decry these sick people we can show the world that they don't represent us, they aren't us, most gamers are lovely people who would never send a threat because a game got pushed back a few months.

It's terrorism, a shitty unorganized version of terrorism, they try and scream and threaten and hurt you until you fear them. These kinds of people are irrational, they want things the way they want them and if someone tells them it isn't then they try and use psychological torture and abuse to get the person to "admit" that they lied. They're so radical and fucked up that they actually believe there are these conspiracies and that if they do enough they'll make them tell the "truth", no matter how preposterous it is for reporters to make up a delay at the cost of their reputation these folks don't buy it because they are mentally ill and are probably paranoid, someone should get them some help.

Not that I know of, everyone I've even heard say it says gamefaks, although jim has been known to pronounce things oddly, well at least from my perspective, so he's probably an exception not the rule.

Hmmm.... I've never heard someone say, "GameFAQs", by pronouncing each initial. My family and I always pronounced it as "GameFaks", like game facts as a singular word. Is the correct way to state the initials separately??

It's good that the game got delayed so that there's hopefully no Day 1 Patch. Those really screw over people who lack access to online gaming so props to the team for making a sensible choice. As for the death threats, abuse, etc, what do people actually expect to accomplish? Is there a goal at the end of this? Like "If we send enough threats, the target leave the internet forever and that's one less SJW!" If so that's a shitty plan.

So what it was delayed. Just go play another game. There's a well of good games that we can't pick from to play while we wait for it to come out. I was actually glad the game got delayed because it gave me more time to save up enough to get the game on release.
