The "Content Warning" is wrong on this. It not the fact that you have "woolly liberal politics" that is offensive, its the fact that you are so disturbingly disparaging and dismissive to any of your audience that may hold a different viewpoint. However, I guess that is par for the course for a Progressive (which is not the same thing as a Liberal); denounce anyone holding an opposing viewpoint as immoral, retarded and disgusting. Use every trick of rhetoric, including sarcasm and reductio ad absurdum, to vilify and belittle your opponents. Or at least, that is how it came across. Perhaps you weren't talking to EVERYONE who holds a different opinion to you on things-that-aren't-video-games, but it didn't sound like it. I especially did not expect to be told to "... just don't listen to this and fuck off. You'll be replaced." Though I understand you were responding to some pretty harsh criticism you received, perhaps consider not grouping those who don't agree with your opinions (and on the subject you were discussing at that particular moment, I really don't agree with you) but believe you have the right to hold those opinions (as in, proper Liberals), together with dogmatic, frothy puritans who, ironically, use the exact same shaming tactics you used. Other than that, keep on doing your thing. I don't have to agree with your politics to enjoy and support the work you produce.
