As someone who thought Deus Ex:HR was GotY it came out and was so estatic to hear Humanity Divided wa seeing made, seeing that pre-order trailer also caused me to vomit up bloody chunks...fucking jeeezus CHRIST!

Well, Cameron threw out 1 month of CGI work when they made the Avatar, because he doesn't really liked it, and ordered the team to redo it again. It happens if you want to master something.

Don't you miss when you could preorder as god intended; out of convenience (for the record, I preorder via Amazon) for stuff you were pretty damn positive you'd get in the first place OR a limited release things like something from Natsume? (your milage may vary, but I'm damn sure you. Before your "watch list" was only things you weren't sure of, or had a spotty past (oh, Sonic, what happened to you). NOW we have to have a "must buy later" list for this nonsense.

Sorry Jim, Love Kojima but the man is a money pit. I read he commissioned over 200 songs that were never used. I mean.. come on. Jim.. 200 songs.. That is a lot of someone's hard work wasted and a lot of money down the drain. Who knows the scale of Kojima's spending. He is a genius.. but he is a genius who is also completely crazy and obsessed with his vision. He does not care if his games make money or not. And let's be honest, Konami wanted Metal gear 5 out in 2014 when they released Ground Zero. The fact that Kojima delayed the game by over a year and made all the work done to make the game for Ps3 and xbox 360 a waste of money should be also brought up. I am not supporting Konami, but come on.... at least present the other side of the argument. Even if you hate the other side.

Only game I've preordered in recent memory is Fallout 4 and it will likely be the last for some time with the way the preorder culture is going. Thanks Jim :)

ughk! pre orders. never. I would love more Fuck Konami News, but it would mean that Konami was still up to absolute nonsense that you would have to compose a new segment. so here's hoping that Konami finds themselves at the bottom of a blackhole and all the employees and customers they've screwed can find themselves liberated from this weird downspiral they're in.

I just wait for the GotY Edition, just like with Batman and his pre-order bollocks. Its the best Version of these Games by far.

I haven't preordered for at least 7/8 years now, and before that it was very rare I did it. It used to be that i didn't miss out much too, it was a skin here, a extra weapon there, you could perfectly play the game without them. But with more and more focus and obsession with the preorder the more and more content they hide behind the paywall that is preorder and the more and more i miss out. Not nearly as much as with the elements stripped from the core game and then stuffed into DLC, but still. It's starting to look ugly. Also, #FuckKonami Because Konami is Konami and Konami is the worst!
