Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric Review

Here's a fine example of something I might not have been able to quite get away with on another website. I went to some ghoulish places with this review. I can't say the game didn't deserve it!

I don't get it. Are there ramps in this game or not? And can they be used as ramps? This is what hinges on me buying the game.

Holy Zen!

Start Online Work: Google pay 97$ per hour my last pay check was $8500 working 1o hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it out. This is what¬ I do...... I just kinda sat here when I finished reading that. I am a changed person.

I researched "existential nihilism" in order to better appreciate this fine review. It actually cheers me up.

This is possibly the best review you've ever written, Jim.

Great.. review?? Haha, hey Jim, does Patreon offer any sort of RSS ability to the audience of a creator such as yourself?? It'd be much better than email. Thanks.

This makes sense.

I'm getting the impression reworking the CryEngine 3 engine may have been a bit of a gamble.

Poor Knuckles, I feel really bad for him. And for sonic too of course. While Lost World was a very flawed Game with problems, it had many good things going for it. Improving on it could have result in a really, really good Sonic 3D Game, its a shame they throwed that concept out of the Window for... that.

Why is it that SEGA's repertoire of games vary in quality so much? We get the garbage that is Colonial Marines but then we're given Alien: Isolation which was awesome... And now Sonic Boom? I feel like i'm missing a point here, could someone explain a reason / theory as to why this is? And whether SEGA should even be trusted?

Death is certain, but now I don't have to live a life that included Sonic Boom. Thanks, Jim!

After reading that why do I picture the closing scene of The Godfather Part II where Michael is SEGA, Jim is Al Neri and Fredo is Sonic.

Holy Shit! Please review more shitty games. I love Sonic, but what have they done to him.... and Knuckles WTF! Is he on roids?

I mean, maybe they're the keep them attached... but bandages? Of all the things to use? Why not, like, the actual kind of straps you can get for that kind of thing? And why are they wrapped on other characters' body parts, and other bits of him? There are SO many bandages. My theories are the only sane answers.

Jim Sterling

I assumed it was to keep his shoes attached to his legs, but the one mentioned makes a lot more sense. Which gets me to thinking, what on Earth would his feet look like in the first place (pussy sores and gangrene noneithstanding)?

Mark Patten

This was incredible.

Kinda wished you did video reviews to accompany these. I get it'd be more work I just have trouble with long written reviews.

Wow. That wound stuff was dark and funny and that whole bit about ashes in the wind would make me sad, if it wasnt for the fact that only prokaryotes are truly important on a galactic scale and will most likely outlive humanity as they came before it.
