Also, a little tangent about Maggie having to deal with the consequences of what she's done interesting, I feel I glossed over the point a little too much. I still ship Fin & Maggie together, their feelings are very pure and it is beautiful. Now their relationship is soiled, true, but that's how life goes sometimes. I'd like for them to deal with this in an adult-like manner, ultimately. Their relationship might never be the same, but I'd be sad if bridges are burnt forever over this misstep. And in my mind it is the road there that I'd qualify as "entertaining". Also, mixing pure feelings & "sinful" behavior in a balanced way is very arousing in itself for me.

2025-01-11 17:27:31 +0000 UTCI don't find myself rooting for Malik yet, there's too much old blood and still much to prove, but I will admit that his behavior has been acceptable lately, since he didn't "cheat" his way into Maggie's pants. The situation became interestingly complicated very quick. Maggie fucked up big time in trying to secure a compromise that early that way, and seeing her deal with those consequences will be very entertaining. A joy to see Malik sweat, confronted to a situation he is painfully aware he won't be able to sly his way out of. I'm interested to see what kind of overture he will have to concede to Fin in order not to aggravate him, which would in turn entice Dryda to end the green bastard on the spot... Maybe, as the cosmic irony would let me hope, he will have to do the exact opposite of what he always does, help fortifying Fin and bring him back on his feet, hopefully without a Trojan brainworm... I think Fin & Malik could make very decent (and contrasted) partners if their relationship is "sane" and honest enough. I do hope Dryda was genuine in what she expressed in the earlier chapters, since Fin seems to have been pushed into the hole, as Maggie was about to say before being shut down.
