2024-10-19 07:55:50 +0000 UTCHmmmm honestly I think the safest bet is actually not betrayal, I feel like how this all played out Malik 100% is on the “oh…..if they are not only working with me but deferring power to me we must be REALLY up shit creek” mindset causing the gravity of everything to put the situation in perspective, that being said I think he will use his orc magic *juuuuust* enough on a party memeber to get someone to squeal on the sincerity of this deal, and if he catches wind of an upcoming betrayal he will have preparations set in place

He touch's Fin's shoulders and trys to gas him up "wow you did better than zenon." It is also explained his power works slow, so i believe the "feeling" Fin gets is the early stages of Malik's influence 2. We know Malik gives people enough freedom to trap them because he is confident they make choices he wants. 3. We know Malik panics under pressure because of the incursion, Zenon's control falters because he sees Malik being a bitch. Its possible his whole crew could see him panic, which could give Fin the upper hand for a betrayal
