Let's just put this as his own "quirk", toying with the greedy and guilty, and somewhat helping the honest needy, as long as the price (that I think the Onyxes have little control of, btw) is paid 😁

It's just so far we've seen the onyx father deal more or less in good faith the only people we've seen him actively ruin are those with malicious intent towards others
makes me think on it has a form of morality that they have to work with him due to their own biological / magical restraints that's just a theory though lol

All the dragons have some good or bad parts and all the colours are coded towards mythical or divine groups of entities with some hints as to who is who. A fake pastor endlessly wandering the desert. For each instance where it seems fair there will be ten more where he's letting people fall for their own desires that of course can't be paid for.

Blue Dragons and green Dragons seem a lot more evil and that's not even touching on the white Dragons

From what I can gather, they are unequivocally the nicest of the Dragons, but just as we see here, they unfortunately and without control give off a "bad vibe" 🤔

This chapter really makes me feel like the onyx father isn't that bad to guy he didn't seem that evil in journey East either everyone says black Dragons are evil but honestly so far they seem like one of the nicer types of Dragons ....i think
